Vernier - Knowledge Management

Introduction

This page provides some light info on how to use our suite of features. Feel free to reach out to support@vernier.ai if you need anything that isn't covered here! A quick note - we are still rolling out new feature updates & fixes to our product daily. In certain instances, features may run a little slower, or rougher - if you experience this please let us know.

Getting Started

To get started with the Vernier, follow these steps:

  1. Login to the account with your work email address. Your password will be shared to the admin user.
  2. Reset your password to your own, secure password.
  3. Access https://app.vernier.ai/dashboard in the browser.
  4. If the dashboard prompts you to select your organization, please use the dropdown menu on the top-left to choose your team (It will say "No Organization Selected").

For Team Members

Vernier is an internal knowledge transfer tool to help team's ask and answer question on previous work & context. In order to power our recommendations, we pull from past work files and (in certain instances), archived emails


To get started, send an email with your query to your_company@qanda.vernier.ai., and we'll provide a response if your email is authorized to access the information. E.g., if you work at Stripe, please email stripe@qanda.vernier.ai.


All content is encrypted during transit, and when stored, and is never identifiable to any individual. We have protections in place preventing access to sensitive info, both externally and within teams.


In order to use the tool, Vernier requires authorization to access Google apps. Please follow the below to set this up.

  1. For each data source, first Link Vernier to your Google Apps by clicking the Link button.
  2. This will trigger an Authorization flow with Google. Once completed, please close the tab and return to the dashboard.
  3. Then, click the Sync button. This will trigger a Sync of Vernier's data store to relevant files available. This can take 12-24 hours to complete before the content is available to query.

For Admins

Administrators may see all users currently authorized to access Vernier, and their status with regards to linking & syncing their work accounts.


Additionally, Admins may also set permissions to query and access the team knowledge base through the AI model. Selecting the checkbox next to a user's email address will either provision or remove their access to query through the email channel.

FAQ

Q: How do I add additional team members?

A: As the admin, you may add additional team members through clicking your organization at the top-left of the dashboard page, and selecting the Cog icon. This will open the admin window. Selecting the Member tab will allow you to invite new team members and select them as a regular Member or Admin. In the case of any issues, please email support@vernier.ai with the required team member's email addresses.

Q: How often do I need to re-sync my files?

A: Vernier will automatically handle resyncs on a weekly basis, with no outside effort required.
